Physiotherapy is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty that strengthens one by using mechanical force and movements. This promotes mobility function and quality at life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention.
Physiotherapy attempts to address the illness, or injuries that limit a person’s ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Most of our divyang children have development disabilities such as speech impairment, vision impairment, multiple physical disabilities & more.
Asmita developed an in-house Physical Therapy Center with modern equipment and a part-time physical therapist to better serve the children and the surrounding community. We have opened our doors to individuals from surrounding villages to come use our facilities and service at a nominal charge fee Rs. 50/-. This project wouldn’t be possible without the help of a CSR Corporate Funding by one of partners.
